Media Literacy
We promote media literacy as the design and implementation of practical interventions that build people's critical skills and habits for engaging with media, which increasingly must respond to algorithmic, platform-driven information environments.
We recognise that traditional media literacy efforts - focused only on analysing static news texts or one-off workshops - fail to equip people for viral propaganda, influencer scams, and AI-generated content that circulate in everyday feeds.
Intervention research emphasises that effective media literacy promotion must combine formal education, community trainings, library programmes, and game-based learning to reach diverse audiences and sustain behavioural change.
We upgrade promoting media literacy by developing evidence-based curricula, training-of-trainers models, and scalable programme designs.
We teach educators, youth workers, and community leaders how to facilitate structured activities that help participants analyse sources, recognise manipulation techniques, and practise ethical content creation.
