This goes way beyond fake news. We see it as a deliberate twisting of data meant to confuse migrants, hide human trafficking routes, and tear down evidence-based migration policies.

In Bangladesh, where labour migration drives the economy, this chaos directly feeds the online deception and scam operations targeting vulnerable workers.

We dig into how these false narratives spread across digital platforms to map out the problem. By understanding how this ecosystem works, we build targeted solutions and literacy programs.

This research helps governments and international groups cut through the noise to deliver accurate, life-saving details to refugees and displaced people. Migration governance remains highly vulnerable to exploitation if we ignore this root cause.

We bridge this gap by training scholars and journalists to spot information disorder, making sure our advocacy relies on verifiable facts and safe digital content.
