We focus on subaltern migration narratives to capture and amplify the voices and lived experiences of the most marginalised migrants who get systematically erased from mainstream data and discourse.

We use this critical lens to challenge the standard top-down approach to migration studies.

Often, the true impact of digital recruitment scams and trafficking stays hidden because the victims do not speak the language of policy or technology.

Understanding displacement requires listening to those at the absolute bottom of the power structure.

We prioritise community engagement to pull out these hidden narratives. We use qualitative research methods to document how subaltern populations experience information disorder.

By bringing these voices into our publications and advocacy, we make sure migration governance draws on the realities of those most affected by labour exploitation and online deception.
