Migration Governance Frameworks

We challenge migration governance frameworks as the legal and policy structures states use to manage migration flows, which often drastically lag behind the rapid evolution of digital scam tactics.

We act as a bridge between the reality of modern online deception and the slow-moving machinery of policy. Because traffickers use cutting-edge digital recruitment methods, outdated governance frameworks leave massive loopholes for exploitation.

The UN Migration Network argues that effective governance must stay agile, evidence-based, and responsive to technological shifts.

We provide the evidence needed to update these frameworks. Our research explicitly details how current laws fail to address transnational digital scams and information disorder.

Through high-level advisory services, we assist governments in drafting new legislation that criminalises online deception in recruitment. This ensures migration governance actually works in the digital age.
